This a 'Lighter&Lower evolution 2' type of cooling head. It is drilled and milled out to reduce the mass of the coolinghead which sits high up in the car and thereby lowering the Center of Gravity of the engine/car.
The sleeve has 5 transfer ports to supply a linear power output and to keep fuel consumption low.
The crankshaft is manufactured with a larger bore intake to increase the mixture flow; and has a special shape to optimise gas-flows in the engine.
The R7 conrod is made from a superlight alluminium which has been checked ultrasonic. The specific form of the R7 creates little turbulence inside the engine while running.
This carburettor is made from plastic and have a sliding throttle valve. (reverse type). This new three tuning needles gives a better idle and improves the ability of the engine to return to low rpm after throttling.
The glowplug of engine is a Turbo type glowplug. Turbo glowplugs have a different shape than Standard glowplugs and therefor are not interchange able with engines that are using Standard glowplugs!
The combustion chamber is supported by an O-Ring which is placed between the combustion chamber and the crankcase to reduce the vibrations of the combustion chamber.
The ignition timing is controlled with these little rings of various thickness. To change the ignition timing you can add or remove a ring of a certain thickness.
